I was raised on Peaks Island, Maine where outdoor appreciation and art making is commonplace. I completed my BFA in animation from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2012. I currently work full-time as a freelance artist in South Portland, ME, having recently left a 12 year career as a farmer. I’ve worked with vegetables, sheep, chickens, dairy, maple syrup, oysters, flowers, trees and lots of humans.  Agriculture has woven its way into my bones and informs everything I make. I mainly work in hand drawn animation, illustration and painting. I’m honing my skills in digital design, printmaking, portraiture, motion graphics, and oil painting. In my time outside the studio I’m mostly likely island hopping with my partner in Casco bay, tending to my gardens, riding motorcycles, or running Maine’s trails with my two dogs.
